Hi all, I recently attended a recruitment event where I handed all my documents in for a CRB check, this was over 3 weeks ago, does anyone know how long it takes to hear back? I got told once the check came back clean I would get a start straight away.
Cheers.

I think it takes about 3 weeks on average. What does it say when you login to the website where you applied? If it says that you have passed security checks, then try phoning Angard to see if they have any news.

Can't see anything about the security check on the site. I actually applied through the Royal Mail site as it was advertised on there through Angard, I'll try giving them a ring, appreciate your reply.
Cheers.

Re: How long before you hear back?
I was with Royal Mail at Christmas and then started with Angard in early March. As far as I'm aware, it was the same process on both the Royal Mail and Angard websites, you could login to check the progress and I think it changed from INTERVIEW BOOKED to PROCESSING SECURITY CHECKS to SECURITY CHECKS PASSED and then onto HIRED & START DATE AGREED. I received a phone call and they booked me in for shifts for the rest of that week and the next week.
Good luck, hope you get a start soon and enough shifts :)

Took 4 weeks for me from the time of the recruitment event to me getting my security badge.
