i am in urgent need of a reference to secure a job. i think just dates will be fine, as obviously it wont be a personal one. i was wondering if there is an email address i can contact, like someone in hr?

If you were employed directly by RM you should have got a reference form with your welcome pack, you give a copy of this to your prospective employer so they can contact RM. It basically authorises RM to release details of your employment with them.
