Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Wasted a whole day yesterday waiting for a courier to turn up with a parcel. Rang the company late afternoon only to find out that that the courier they used had posted a while you were out card through the WRONG door. Played hell with the supplier, telling them they had not only made a verbal, legally binding contract to supply next day, but that I had proof of payment. They contacted the courier company and delivered about 6pm. Took the opportunity to mention RM as I did so.

Nice easy day. Out at 8.45 back at 12.30. If only every day could be that easy.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
I must say , the vibe on this forum or in fact the DO i work isn't particularly positive
I think I've had enough of it after finding 4 hours of the 10 hours overtime I 'signed' for went unpaid. I know there are folk getting a worse ride than me, but I can't let that be the only positive factor to motivate me ... either, the boss thinks I've lied about the hours I did, or he's decided to knock it off and hope I dont notice. Despicable.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
I managed to balance out unpaid overtime in my first few weeks, although I know others who started the same time as me lost out. Nothing is made clear and our system of predicting how much overtime to book when your not used to the round is an absolute joke.
I'll get my money, but i'll piss off the managers in doing so.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
At close of play yesterday, was glad to see the back of yet another utterly demoralising week slaving away for these pigs.
If there's anything, anything at all, that management can do to make our jobs just that little bit more unnecessarily harder, those clowns will bend over backwards to accommodate it.
To the detriment not only of us, but our customers too.
Can there be another company more badly run than Royal Mail, maybe.......But, that's not the point, is it?
