Very easy day. In at 7, round prepped and bagged by 8.30. Faffed around in the office as i had to wait to get my car into the car park. Started the round at 9.10 and finished by 11.25. Normally do a half round after but was not asked today, when i got back all the managers were out on rounds so just left.

Finished dot on time after a very near thing with an Alsatian, if I hadn't been using the small pouch I would have been screwed as it bought me just enough time for the owner to grab his dog. Nearly shat a brick.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Absolute rubbish day. First get taken off my floating job as the regular came in on his day off. Paired up on another job with a new lad and neither of us knew the round or was shown how to bag it up. All the council tax bills in as well so ended up taking 2 pouches of mail back which I did inform the DOM beforehand. Arrived back at the office and the big boss was there so I had to explain to him why we couldn't complete it.It was funny though watching 3 managers running around like headless chickens trying to find someone to take it back out while the big boss man was watching over. Still feel guilty though bringing mail back even though we were stitched up.

Unbelievably quiet for a Wednesday, hardly any mail or parcels. No doubt we'll pay for it tomorrow.

Too right. Never heard anything like it. Meanwhile, back in the real world the rest of us are working like mad to keep the others in jobs and we all get the same pay, terms and conditions.
