Is this Australia's worst postie?
A postman has been caught launching a parcel into a thicket of bushes in a family's front yard during a drive-by delivery in Doreen, in Melbourne's north-east.
Samantha Blake told radio station 3AW she found the parcel under a bush in her garden thinking it was rubbish, and later checked her property's CCTV footage.
To her surprise, she found footage of the postman tossing the package into the bushes, without even slowing down on his motorised postie bike.

“Luckily it was just something for my kids, so it was soft and it wasn't damaged... but in the past I have had a lot of damaged items,” she said.
“It's not the first time that myself and a lot of other residents have had issues so that's what actually made me go and have a look [at the footage].”
An Australia Post spokesperson said in a statement that the postman was a sub-contractor who had only been on the job for two weeks and had been dismissed on Thursday morning.
The spokesperson said Australia Post was confident it was an isolated incident.

Re: Australia Post fires postman caught throwing parcels
I know several 'throwers' in my office but they're always the best posties because they clear everything and don't book any OT
