April 2014 Payrise

Post by gurpbarnes6 »

Other than the backdated payrise from April 2013 would a payrise apply again in April 2014? If so, anyone know how much by each year it generally increases by?

Yes you will get another pay rise in April as well as the one now.

Not sure how much as it depends on what the union and Royal Mail have agreed to.

There is probably a thread somewhere on the forum that should explain what the agreement is.

For most people that would mean actually working 3%...or is it just at my MC that the majority of the casuals (and RM staff alike) are lazy as f**k? :chuckle

Bring on that lovely backdated pay rise!!!! :dance

It should apply to all Agency workers that are AWR qualified but they have some "rules" the may prevent some getting it. Best thing would be to ask Manpower.

But it does depend on the equivalent permanent worker in Royal Mail. As an "agencydriver" may be a description and I am not 100% certain that "Network" drivers were involved in this pay rise - they may have been, I am just not certain.

The RM drivers at Coventry Hub are getting the pay rise, and it's back-dated. I do exactly the same job as them (only better, lol). I've asked Manpower and got no response. If I don't get the back pay I will phone ACAS and ask them for guidance.
