Parcel at Langley HWDC

Hi There, I wonder if anyone can help me. I have tracked my parcel RA584119120CN from its collection in China on 9th January, through Customs in China, to the airport on 11th January, and then to Langley HWDC on 13th January. When I called Royal Mail on 21st January, I was told that the parcel had been passed to HMRC and it could be detained by them so they could not say how long it would take to reach me. The person I talked to was kind enough to provide me with a telephone number for HMRC and I eventually obtained a number for HMRC at Langley. When I called this number I was told that they have no record of receiving my parcel. So I contacted Royal Mail again and this time I was told that I had to wait 15 days before I could progress with my enquiry. I called Royal Mail today and was told that they don't know where my parcel is as it is not tracked and that I would just have to wait. My concern is that my parcel may be lost and I don't know what time I should expect to wait between the time my parcel reaches the UK and gets delivered to me.

I would really appreciate some feedback from someone that could set my expectations as to whether the parcel could still be delivered or if it is probably lost. Many Thanks

hi,friend,I have met the problem too now,I sent a 28 pounds package to UK,when I track the package,it said:arrive at Langley HWDC.
and I want to know did you get the package at last? and how did you get it?
really need your help.friend.

Items from China are not tracked within the UK. As for how long an item could be stuck in customs, it's not unusual for items to get stuck in customs for over a month

Chinese imports now come through ILC and the ILC outhouse.
They do not go through HWDC.
The imports come through the door, go through customs (well some of them) and are then manually sorted to their respective areas of the country.
