Re: Share dividends
Proposed Dividend for 2013-14
Note: In the absence of unforeseen circumstances, the Directors intend to propose only a final dividend in respect of this financial year, to be paid in July 2014, of £133 million. This amount is approximately two-thirds of the notional full year dividend of £200 million that the Directors believe they would have proposed. Hope this helps.

Re: Share dividends
One broker's report I have seen, estimates that the company will be able to increase the annual dividend each financial year. and estimates the total dividends payable over the 'retention period' of 5 years (assuming you don't sell them after year 3 and thus have to pay tax and NI) of around 150p per share.
On 725 free shares, that could be well over £1000 in dividends. Plus whatever the share price is, when you do wish to sell

So do we get paid any dividends annually or at the end of the three years, and how will they be paid to us ?

Re: Share dividends
Dividends will be paid twice a year, in December and July. (We didn't get one in December 2013, because it was payable to shareholders who owned shares at the half-year stage, i.e. when the government was the sole shareholder)bringon4dayweeks wrote: this seems a very high share dividend if true i wont be selling my shares
It is in the company's flotation prospectus, that the annual dividends will be apportioned so that approx 1/3rd of the total yearly dividend would be paid in December each year, the other 2/3rds in July of the following year.
Had we been a listed company since April 2013, we would have received a dividend of 6.67p per share in December, which, with the 13.33p dividend payable in July 2014, would make a total of 20p/share for the 2013/14 financial year.
The broker's report I saw estimates RM will be able to increase the divi by around 25% per year. e.g. 2013/14 = 20p, 2014/15 = 25p etc etc
Even if RM only pay the SAME dividend every year, you're looking at 13.33p for the (partially-listed) year, plus 20p for each of the next 4 years. That's a MINIMUM of 93.33p/share
= £676.64 total dividends over 5 years

Re: Share dividends
The share dividend is and always has been expected to be around 6% of initial investment p.a.
Therefore you can expect approx. £60 for every £1000 worth of shares for the 1st few years. As a newly listed privatised company RMG will not pay any corporation tax on our profits so the dividend should be sweet. The government states as a newly listed PLC, RMG will not pay ANY tax on its profits for a minimum of 3 years to encourage investment.
Again the gov have screwed the British public. How the hell can they sell off a public service that is expected to post profits in excess of £1BILLION tax free so cheaply? Disgraceful
