Fairly light day, heavy for a Tuesday, still only finished at correct time, not early.

It's a good job we love parcels as I had loads to deliver today from Amazon and also a Royal Mail 'We Love Parcels' leaflet type thingy for every house

Quiet day for mail. Had quite a few packets to knock for and will be claiming 45 minutes in the morning.

PO's busting with mail for collections, and boxes rammed full to the brim and then some.
Sweep collection van filled to the brim, so "Its beginning to look a lot like Christmas..!"
Oh, and we Love Parcels, apparently.

on packets through till xmas now since last week, very very quiet on them today, had 1 York that was ment to last me 5 hours
, packet drivers told to return and sort outward mail till finishing time and delivery men allowed to waltz in 90 mins before finishing time as it was quiet and go home, double standard, fine with working till my time, but rules for some is not fair, could off strangled the dom today getting right on my nerves recently with his pish

Silly amount of parcels today, was at least 5 sacks for every frame, but don't worry... Next week is expected to be heavier.

Think it was a national bulk posting. Was up to my neck in parcels and packets and my eyes kept on being drawn to the " we love parcels" motto on the bottom of these. I was convinced RM were sending it out to drive us insane.lala wrote:Anyone else have those red Royal Mail letters for every house? Great planning to do it on a Wednesday 2 weeks before Christmas! Hi all at blue shirts ,
It was packets galore , I know the advert mentioned "we love packets" , but today was insane , even the boss asked me if I wanted to do some on overtime , but after doing a five hour on an up and down hill walk I was goosed , so before I went out on the round I had declined the offer ... and we still claimed overtime ,just for doing the round .
P.S , I am 48
