emptying telephone kiosks

Did any one else use to empty the kiosks,i remember when they had ropes around the cash box and tried to rip it out,also drill bit marks before the battery powered drills,must of used hand driven ones.I use to open the cash boxes and use a machine to count it and get the foreign coins out and take it all down to the counter,a long time ago

Ah, the days when you could actually buy something with the tenpence piece. Did you use a crowbar to empty the boxes too?
Bet you put fireworks in pillar boxes also?
