Hi,
I'm a postie and I'm new to this chat line.
Within my delivery office, I have received union hand outs as to what some of the conditions are that RM are trying to impose on us.
Does anybody have a complete list of what these conditions are?
It seems to me that our strike can not be won unless we have public support. To that end it is essential thet the CWU scream from the rooftops and highlight these unreasonable conditions.
I have listened to the radio, watched the TV and read the newspapers (inc the broadsheets) and have seen almost no mention of these conditions. Is the CWU getting the message across or are the media being lazy in their reporting? Can anybody point me to an article within the media where CWU representatives do specifically list these conditions and argue against them?
I do not think we are arguing our case with clarity; If we do not we will lose this dispute.
