How long after postman dies does widow get money .

I don't know how long through the process you are but if you haven't already done so you must inform the pension service centre of the position, they will then send you some forms to fill in and will probably ask for the death certificate to be sent in aswell. After that's been done I wouldn't have thought it should be more than a few weeks but to be honest I don't know for sure.simstu wrote:How long after postman dies does widow get money .

I worry about how much the Royal Mail Death Benefit is make sure my wife has no idea how generous it is.
