Had some special guests in the office today travelling by executive BMWs. Management all in ties. I hope somebody told them this is the only day since the Indoor Revision in March that porters have actually existed. What a coincidence. :cuppa

One hectic day. Really heavy on the mail. Parcels and packets building big time.

Chaotic

It's only November but we can't move for packets.

H&S well and truly out the window - how high will the parcel tower get?

Not bad for mail or packets but 6 lots of D2Ds that couldn't be put in the frame ruined everything.

Very, very bad.

5 minutes to end of work day - haven't stopped,

1 hours work still to be done......

Lock up and go home - we've been telling management that we can't cope for months, maybe they'll listen.......

No......just a flock of flying pigs and the accusations of skiving to come.

How many more centuries does Royal mail need to be in existance before they issue suitable winter weather gloves? :hmmmm

Hammered. This week we have had the HCTs upgraded. (more secure locks with the addition of a back plate). Today I found out we are having all but 2 removed from the office. :d'oh!

For the past 3 weeks the mail has been bad, packets coming out of everywhere, no end in sight...........at least until Christmas, I just don't have the room to take everything out in one go, I'm having to come back and reload everyday (which cuts my delivery time and makes my manager a very sad man :Very Happy :Very Happy ).
Maybe we need a bigger van :hmmmm

So...this successful, "We Love Parcels" ad, has led to MANY more peeps ordering stuff.
And coz they aint in, all the N/A's are piling up like Everest.

But, even though we spent Millions on ad's, apparently theres "no money" for PHG additional evening staff to handle the extra parcels/packets.

This means that our Customers are going away disappointed, when we close the door on them at 5pm...with more outside waiting.

Failing to Plan, is Planning to Fail...

You lock the door at 5? Ours is locked at 3:30 - without fail.
