Re: The "How was your day" thread.
Crap.
Back from a week off. My contract says my standard hours are from 2:30 onwards. I get in at 2 just to be early, guess what? I was meant to be in at 1 and starting ANOTHER blind duty collection at 1:45. (Thanks for letting me know RM!) So that's me 30mins late for every collection on the wave 2. I start my blind wave3 and the satnav is crap and sent me down 2 dead ends to find a firm so now I was 30mins behind from then on.
Just crap.

Wet and windy to start.. after faffing about in the office waiting for the last lot of mail to arrive. Sod all in the way of packets or tracked/signed fors. Got out on delivery and whizzed round and all done within 45 mins of finish time, for our delivery that's good, and on a light day too and also light on D2D's this week too making it much easier as well.

I seriously don't know where all the packets are coming from, everyday since last Tuesday I've gone out with my van stuff to the roof, todays little surprise was 21 specials and 8 tracked............you'd almost think Christmas was coming

Hammered again. Didn't help that the sequenced mail came off the machines late, due to it not arriving at the office in time.
Saw a postie from TNT on my round.

Re: The "How was your day" thread.
I've seen two now on consecutive days. Nothing against them personally. Spoke to them both. One told me that someone had walked out that morning. (Thursday) Will be interesting to see if they can retain staff. Me thinks not as the pay is too low and they are, as far as I know on low hours contracts.Stella102 wrote:they are tossers if i ever come across tnt i make sure to shout jibes at them.DB1100 wrote:Why? he is just trying to scratch a living like us.UnhappyGremlin wrote:You should have waved to them.heapsy wrote:Hammered again.
