It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: BIS:ROYAL MAIL SHARE OFFER ANNOUNCEMENT
The initial market value of the 10 per cent. stake in Royal Mail which is being made available free to eligible employees will be based on the closing mid-price at the end of the trading day on 15 October 2013. Why dont we receive the shares at the price of 330p price they are been sold at? Surely the closing price at the end of trading will be much higher? Sounds like another con!

Re: BIS:ROYAL MAIL SHARE OFFER ANNOUNCEMENT
My understanding is we get 10% of the shares. So that's 330 million shares between us, the value when we get them is irrelevant because we still receive the same number of shares each whether they are £2 or £20.

330 million divided between 150,000 of us comes to shares worth £7,260. Can't be right

They are giving us 10% of the shares ie 100,160,000 to share between us. So they're be worth about £2,200 when we get tem and bugger all in 3 years time - unless Richard Branson makes us an offer we can't refuse.Virgin Mail - got a ring to itaposter wrote:They are giving us 10% of the shares ie 100,160,000 to share between us.
