Hi everyone
Just started at Royal Mail a week ago and love it but now worried from yesterday news there will be jobs cuts regarding postman/women when it gets privatised...my question is will I be safe as a newbie?
Any positive answer would be great

The overarching objective is to avoid compulsory redundancies.
Don't worry until it happens. It probably never will.
If they have given you a job it is because they have a vacancy. It isn't going to disappear overnight.
