Who Is Now In Charge

Post by Senior Service »

Now that we are nearly privatised who will actually be in charge?

Will it be Moya or will there be a board of directors above her making the decisions?

If there is a board will there be a workers representative on the board?

Sorry for all the questions but I an a bit confused as to what happens next.

There is already a RMG Board of Directors. Moya is the CEO. I don't see any immediate changes.

The changes will come once the shares have been pooled by major investors and the dividends are not to their liking.
Pressure is now on Moya and Co to deliver and deliver and keep on delivering because that is the way of the shareholder game.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

If she, and the other board members fail, will they be punished with the termination of their employment?
And, like many other similar positions in other privatised companies, i.e. energy/water etc., will they suffer the indignity of a massive pay off? :whistle

Can all employee shareholders tell their Linos to do one (FO) if they are asked to lapse?

No immediate change - depends on how the cards (shares) fall !

Shareholders will start to exert their influence at Board level over time according the size of their shareholding.
