Vince Cable said we would keep our shares if we left the company within 3 years, provided it was for 'good reasons'. However he didn't seem to know what was defined as a good reason. My understanding was it was just redundancy and IHR.

.....therefore say if you were being bullied by your manager. Maybe you had taken out a grievance against him which was invetiably rejected/covered up etc etc. Eventually you couldn't take anymore so you resigned. That would not count as a 'good reason' and you would lose your share entitlement. You couldn't make it up!!!!

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: privatisation...... one-off evidence session today
So most of us are handcuffed to this company for at least 3 years to gain any benefit from free shares. If we leave because of unreasonable workloads, b&h, physical wear and tear thats not severe enough to get IHR etc, we lose the lot.
What have I done to deserve this?
