Barrister's report - Policy forum 2013. Where is it???

Post by stephen500 »

So today is, in reality, the last day you can send off your "opt out" of shares.
I have to say I am disappointed that the CWU appears not to have produced the Barrister's report and LTB promised that was mandated at the special policy forum. I was of the opinion that a mandated motion must be acted upon and a deadline of the 30th Sept was set. So I am now in a position, where I hope the CWUs advice is correct that the Growth and Infrastructure act 2013, does not cover our shares. It would have been more reassuring to have read a barrister's report. I see little point in passing motions, if they are not adhered too.

Well I and the members never received the "Barrister's report" and LTB as promised.
What was the point of a policy forum?
Motions being passed, if no one is going to action them.
Very poor and which has put me in the position of being a share holder as the date is here to "opt out".
I very much support the CWU and I know it has given advice on this subject, but not the specialist legal advice mandated by the forum.
So I feel let down in this instance.
I just hope I don't regret keeping these shares and that The Growth and Infrastructure Act 2013 does not come back to bite us.
