Depends, I wouldn't worry.

Turn over among Permanent staff is pretty constant especially in delivery Offices, and at the moment there is a big push for Christmas Casuals.

Both go through similar recruitment processes so its difficult to tell which one you are applying under, but I still wouldn't worry there is probably more than 1 position available.

Thanks for the reply. its a part time 24 hour postman/women with driving I have applied for. The waiting is just killing me and I can't wait to hand my two week notice in for my current job. I was going to hand it in today but think I am going to wait till I get a phone call to be on the safe side.
