Britain's Royal Mail sale subscribed within hours

LONDON (Reuters) - Britain's Royal Mail postal service has received enough orders for all of the shares on offer in its stock market listing within hours of opening the order books, two sources close to the deal said.

The British government said on Friday it would sell between 40.1 percent and 52.2 percent of the state-owned company and was offering the shares at between 260 pence and 330 pence each.

The sources, who declined to be named because the information was not public, said orders had already been received from potential investors for the maximum offer size.

I like your optimism TBT !!! Its all been a game , on both sides . the Union only want a deal , they were never going to stop Privatisation. the Tories are ideologically driven and are/were hell bent on getting this done as they know Labour had/has no intention of renationalising RM. its all done on the short term so their buddies can make a few quick bucks in the stock market . what happens in the long term will be " Market Driven ". its rampant unregulated Capitalism as I keep banging on about !! winners and losers , where the winners have just about everything stacked in their favour and the losers have nowhere to go.
