After prepping in mail and waiting for the 2nd lorry load I sat at my frame and thought
'I really do not want to be here '
Driving down a lane ,a woman was walking her 3 dogs OFF lead. I tried squeezing past her but her dogs kept running in front of my van.
She said 'morning' I just gave her a dirty look ,NEVER mind MORNING control your bloody dogs,or i'll run them over! silly woman

Disastrous day. First day doing a job I haven't done or been shown before. Gets in at 8 and nothing touched on the frame so didn't get out until 10. Found a load of tracked Grand Theft Autos which I shouldn't have taken out so had to write all the tracking numbers on a slip then add them when I got back. On top of that it rained heavily from 10.30 and never stopped so lots of soggy post and my pens kept running out.

Then it really gets to you when you're soaking wet, cold & exhausted then the benefit brigade, who are probably 'earning' more than you, answers the door to you still in their pyjamas at midday.

VERY busy. Office turned upside down by the latest changes. Parcels everywhere. At least I got some overtime from them.

That should have been sorted at your rep's weekly resourcing meeting.
That's what flexing up is all about. Having sufficient indoor hours to meet the workload.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.
