Did you or are you going to register this on ERRICA, I would suggest the latter, as you appear to have been at work when the incident occured it would NORMALLY new rules be classed as Accident at Work

Make sure it's logged in erica within I think 24hrs...?
Also make sure you are there when they do it, because sometimes they get their words and facts mixed up

I was lifting my trolley out of my van to do my duty, I held it with both hands and lifted the trolley out. I slipped a disc in my back doing this, was this my fault it was an accident or an incident. The manager still has not reported it.

Take the matter up with your CWU unit/workplace health and safety rep and if you do not have one in situ then take it up with your CWU Area Health & Safety Representative.
