New here, with a question. (contracts..lol)

Hi all. well everyone here seems to know the score with RM. Iv been a postman herein Belfast for four years now on a six hour contract, recently and once again I was made up for the summer with a firm impression from my line manager thi would be permanent, but no, got dropped back to 6 hours this week. I would not have taken the contract if i knew this was the case, i had the same issue last christmas and wouldnt take temporary 40 hours. Its now got to the point where im ready to walk. After nearly 5 years service, I expect more from my employer as I work an average of 30 hours a week even when reduced to 6 hours. I want to put in for a transfer, so my question is will I have the same issue at other offices? I dont want to transfer just be waiting another 4 years, that aint gonna happen. thanks for reading and replies are appreciated.....

When you transfer you don't take your hr's with you,you can transfer to a job with 10/20/30/39 hrs ect if there are any like that where you want to go.

If you regularly work over your 6hrs then your rep 'should' at least question it and try to get you made up.
