Managers Union
If there any managers on this site, please tell us what you think about privatisation, surely not all management are for this
There is a forgotten, well almost a forbidden word, which means more to me than any other.
That word is ENGLAND!!!

Re: Managers Union
The results of the CMA consultative ballot:
http://goo.gl/Z6mTmj" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I've spoken to a number of managers who object to delivering WTLs on privatisation when they themselves simply do not believe the spin. As far as support for IA between CMA and CWU it simply will not happen, CMA are simply too spineless and the best they have offered is to 'support' managers who refuse to deliver mail during IA ... no instruction to their members not to undertake work that is proper to another trade union!!
As for the managers themselves, those who do not comply with management directives to deliver or process mail (a skills register was updated back in March) will as always be pressurised, subject to B&H and suffer poor PDR markings with the inevitable affect on their career/promotion prospects. Whilst some will fill their boots with Hrs of OT this group are in a minority. Personally I don't blame most individual managers I blame their union ... if you can call it that.

Bang against it and with the postal workers on everything. WTLLs I've clearly stated I have to communicate what they say but that I certainly don't agree with them. Had some great discussions actually, love my team. They'll be wanting me to cover duties if there's a strike. That's going to be an interesting conversation WHEN (not if) a strike happens

Re: Managers Union
Managers are like OPGs ... you get good and bad. I would have to say the average lino is more misguided than malicious it's further up the greasy pole where calculated middle/senior managers drive the behaviours of those below them and I would agree that they are part of the problem. You will never eradicate B&H from RM, it's too ingrained in the culture, but it would be good start if senior management acknowledged that the problem exists (or maybe they do ... and choose not to do anything about it).edwardo wrote:managers are part of the reason for strike action , treat you like s--t day after day no friends of mine

I personally think they actively encourage it.Budfrog wrote:Managers are like OPGs ... you get good and bad. Re: Managers Union
I believe you are correct ... they are mostly selfish individuals who have no respect for the people who process, distribute and deliver the mail that pays their mortgages.UnhappyGremlin wrote:I personally think they actively encourage it.Budfrog wrote:Managers are like OPGs ... you get good and bad.
