Any plans of strike action over privitisation?

Is the CWU planning any kind of strike action over this privitsation scam?

The current implementation is terrible and the board have been borderline deceitful over a number of issues.

I was hoping all options would be considered. I haven't even heard of the CWU or directors proposing something like moving to a co-operative business model.

I'm proud of Royal Mail and I don't want the conservatives and our board to strip it down and stitch up all the staff like it appears they are planning to. I wouldn't support boycotting DSA mail (although it is an issue that needs addressing far better than our directors have) but I would definitely support strike action over the current privitsation proposition.

A strike is a definite possibility, in fact the CWU have told Royal mail that unless they improve the pay offer (removeing the chains would be a good start) then a strike would be inevitable. I am fairly certain that any strike over pay will also be used to push the Unions anti-privatisation message, as will the actual act of striking.

As far as I know no improvement in finances, and not sure if they can even borrow. However, there are plenty of anti-privatisation campaigns out there who are helping, and I suspect that most of the major Unions have made solidarity donations.
