We are ROYAL!

Post by Judgee »

Ok this is a wild shot in the dark and probably completely naive but should the Queen not have a say about this privatisation?

I know from a legal standpoint she probably has no say in it whatsoever. But if she said "Feck that sheet, one does not want ones company to be destroyed by greedy bastards!" Would it not hold any sway? :hmmmm

We are after all Royal Mail, is the Royal not there for a reason?
Union what Union? Do we have a union?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Every new law the government brings in requires Royal Assent, or in other words the approval of the current monarch. Technically the Queen could refuse but in practice never does.

Apparently the name is protected in the legislation as well as the queens head.

This was talked of yesterday on 5 live.In the you couldn't make it up pile There was a suggestion that the royal title would go but new owners, as a way of getting money in, could get stamps sponsored.
Now you don't have to make it up.
Confused... You won't be, after the next episode of. SOAP
