Hi all, I've just signed up to ask a question.
An agency has offered me some work in a sorting office on Thursday.
I've just noticed this coincides with the strikes, so I was just wondering are some places not on strike or are they asking me to scab?
If they are then I'll not be going.
Cheers

It's just been on the Radio Merseyside phone-in that agency workers have all been warned that they will get finished up if they refuse to cross the CWU picket line in Liverpool. This is because of those Polish comrades who would not work during the last strike. According to the caller, the CWU in Liverpool produced leaflets in Polish explaining the situation. The agency workers support the industrial action, but the agency and RM have issued this threat against them. The phone-in host Roger Phillips said he will pass this on to the news section to follow the story up.

With the strikes coming to an end (for this week), how do royal mail workers feel about agency workers in general?
As I have said before I would never cross a line and work during the strikes but do you have any issues if they were to work on non strike days as I think I may be offered some work on Thursday.
