Probably the hardest day I have ever known on delivery.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

Sun shone here. Misdelivered a letter though (right number, wrong street), lady came out handed the letter to me and gave me grief for 5 minutes about why she keeps getting letters for other houses and wondering where her mail is going (expected letter from New Zealand 6 weeks ago yeah right). She said 'you should read the address on letters before posting them, not hard is it' - useful bit of advice that one. I said only my second day on this walk, tmrw u will have someone else, then next week someone else. Blah!

Seeing blue notices on the frames requesting us to 'flip-check' complainants mail but this, in our office at least , is the very end result of Moderisation/P&L.. together with Duty Officers only being requested to deliver to certain addresses (Mr Angry of Rosebery Avenue for example : ) ).. You'd laugh if it wasn't so sad..

Lots of cut offs...LOTS! Ended up doing "enforced o/t" so that the other guys weren't left in the shite...again.

We ALL wanna finish early on Sat's, but how do leave 8 outta 14 loops behind? More than half left as cut offs????

Cant figure it out..."Transformation - Postmen in Chaos..."

My day went from :mad :evil/mad  to :dance :nana :Very Happy the latter after I got home.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets
