The chief executive An Post has called for more regular price adjustments for the universal postal service in Ireland, after the company recorded its first trading loss since 2003.
Donal Connell said the EUR 17.5m operating loss made by An Post in 2012 was exacerbated by the fact that the universal postal service racked up a EUR 60m loss last year.
