Usual Monday, a quiet day.. light on mail and the "normal" amount of packets we get on our P&L for today with only a few s/f's and tracked items.
More households than mail for most people though today as there were six households plus one or two letters for most people!
Households are the usual ones for the area. They got their "staple food" one [aka pizza] plus Estate agents, Gas boilers, fruit/veg deliveries, carpet cleaning and a local traders list, and no doubt most will go in the bin and they'll maybe keep at least two!

Parcel Counts - This is the new one for our office. A full count of Packets, Oversized packets, Recorded items, Tracked items & Special Deliveries. All these to be completed on a daily basis. This is happening for the next 6 weeks, Oh Joy !!!
Apart from that, not a bad day at all... Keep smiling all, don't let em grind you down :Applause

Should have been my day off but someone else needed a swap so I worked it - and what a lovely day to have worked. Light load and beautiful weather, it made being a postie the best job in the world! Sorry, I think I spent too long out in the sun.

Sounds like a blessing

May your day off be heavy, may your D2Ds be single and small and may your lapsing be cancelled. :chuckle :chuckle :chuckle

@kevbo - Didn't get a Dyson insert in my copy of Pravda, just one for investments.

I was at work. So on one hand rubbish, on the other, not so bad as it was sunny.

And so the weather gets warmer! Average Wednesday workload, a nice walk in the sun and many people just wanting to stand and chat. Two very nice young ladies in their garden offered me a piece of homemade flapjack which I accepted. Sadly it wasn't a euphemism, it was a piece of homemade flapjack. But it was good.

Really busy. Loads of mail and loads of packets. I fear for tomorrow.
