How much would it take.......

Post by Cut Off King »

When privatisation rears it head in the near future, the CWU will wake up and want to fight, RM will want to bribe you not to fight the sell-off

So, how much money would it take for you NOT to fight the sale.

£1000....£2000....£5000....£10,000 ???

Would you accept the sale of RM if you got ££££ + EVR straight away after the sale ?

Everyone has their price and so do I but I wouldn't sell out on this issue because I'm only 44 and might have another 20 years in this s**t hole and 20 years of poorer terms and conditions is more money than they are likely to come up with.

EVR sounds great but what would I do for money after I'd blown my £30k on women, booze and drugs ...and I don't like gardening.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

I agree, but I know people who would sell their mother for an hours overtime.

They can't afford me. I'm younger than FT, and as he says it just isn't worth the worse working conditions etc.
And there really isn't anything out there to go to, either. Unless you want to stack shelves for minimum wage.

They can't afford me either.
I'm older than FT and much older than UnhappyGremlin, and have had a career out of this job. This was all made possible by colleagues that went before me, and the sacrifices that they made. For Royal Mail to try and buy me off now, to the detriment of my younger and future colleagues, is, frankly, disgusting.
It will not happen.

Money doesn't motivate me.
Though I might be interested if Moya herself came on RMC and started a new lizard thread.
The societies of consumption and squandering of material resources are incompatible with the idea of economic growth and a clean planet.

what a much better world we would all live in , if the vast majority of people felt like that :Applause
and personally I would prefer a living wage with a shorter working week .

A googolplex of £5 notes wouldn't be enough for me.
