hi
Management are quoting core business standards in our mail centre to justify clearance of all mailsort, dsa and intra by 2200 hours.
This is having an effect on all shifts
Does anybody know where this comes from and which document it is, and is it a national agreement across all mail centres?
I would like to see the document if anyone has it?

look at RM national workplan 2012 it states all relevant info in that doc, should be able to find it on intranet.

Correct - areas/offices can deviate from this plan but they need special dispensation. Most offices should also display their own individual work plan which should go down to control area level.pcb wrote:look at RM national workplan 2012 it states all relevant info in that doc, should be able to find it on intranet.

Re: core business standards in mail centres
well i looked at core process standards and the following rule is here, number 13
"All posted manual mail and DSA manual to be sorted to its lowest Plant sortation level,in time for final 1c workplan clearance"
This does not say that our mail centre must complete all inward mail for 2200 hours only that it has to clear for the morning dispatch
its causing problems in our mail centre

Get the area rep onto it, they should have access to all this type of information if they request it!!!
