Because we network with our membership right across the Country, we can "check out" relief's for their reliability, and trustworthiness, the relief's we feature are usually CWU members as well, so the Branch is happy to recommend these people on the basis that the final arrangements are between the Postmaster and the relief, the Branch isn't supplying these reliefs but are happy to recommend them.

Our web site is also a good place for reliefs to keep up to date with current affairs as well as promote their services.

As you will see its a Branch service that the Branch offers so that is why I didn't "give " away the info on here, as that would be nicking it really wouldn't it?

Reliable and trustworthy. I had a dog like that once. Couldn't work out the price of 3 100 gram large letter 1st class stamps to save his life though. Can he join the cwu accreditted list ? (That should read 'could he have joined ?)'. Poor Jeepster, Had his chance. But failed. Oh well. Such is life.

How do you judge reliable and trustworthy ? And how do you accredit them with remaining reliable and trustworthy ? It's not like you can give them a diploma, or even an NVQ, is it ? So basically, its as useful, or otherwise, as any other recommendation. And if they do screw up, accidentally or otherwise, what does cwu undertake to do for the out-of-pocket subpostmatser then ? Make good any losses ? Or just 'unaccredit' the relief ? Or give them a second chance ? Or is it 'one strike and you're out' ? Which wouldn't realy be fair on the relief now, would it, since it may be a once in a lifetime, genuine mistake. Oh well, as I'm not a cwu member, I guess I will never know.

Pete.

Hello,

I am from the East Midlands area (Leicestershire/Warwickshire) and I am available for any relief cover or post office staff requirements over the coming summer months until the beginning of October.

I have a long history of working for Post Office and I managed a sub-office in Hinckley for over 5 years. I am registered with HR4UK, the Post Office locom/relief cover service provider and have previously completed relief cover for various Post Office's over the last couple of years.

I am trained on all services including passports, mvl's/car tax, moneygram, paystation and national lottery and I have an incredible customer service/satisfaction level.

If you have any cover or staff requirements over the next couple of months, then please contact me on either 07917606680 (mob) or 01455273409(home).

Kind regards,

Chris Holt
