arrived at 7.45 most of the office were tieing up, i had to throw the whole job off which i did within 45 mins with a little help from partner. out on delivery for 9 most of the office had been gone nearly an hour at this point joke really! these 25 hour contracts don't work all. all it means in my office is you arrive later than everybody else still have to do the work they were doing before you arrived as they are walking out the door. rant over.

Yeah mail wise very quiet, on one street with around 20 houses has mail for only 2 houses, kept thinking have forgot to prep a box but no just one of those quiet days, as someone else said we will probably pay for it tomorrow.

Annoying. Bloody PDA's. Useless.

At least it was sunny.

I could've put all of my mail in one bag - with packets it was in 6! Sat around in the office waiting for mech and when it arrived.. half a tray! Like others I kept thinking.. "have I left some behind?" , no doubt we'll suffer later on this week, like others. Never known it to be this light.

Normal service has resumed. Only other thing was a chat with someone from another office. Tells me we aren't getting a pay rise. No idea if this is true but the union have gone very quiet. :hmmmm

Awful. Rained the whole time. Completely soaked after four hours. PDA battery died after an hour of death-rattling. Tracked barcodes damaged by rain. Pen wouldn't work on mushy P739s so I had to etch the details onto them. If I had just started this job I would have quit after that.

Which bit of "No Junk Mail" do you not undestand?

That makes me laugh.. "I don't want junk mail" and yet when they get the same stuff that's addressed to them and they take it. This happened to me the other year.. on an old delivery. the woman complained about the households, one of which was a charity envelope, and at the same time I gave her her mail -with a grin - and thought "suck on this one then missus, let's see what you say to this" - and one of the letters I gave her was from the exact same company and the same item too but it was addressed to her!

I should've taken a photo of the look she had on her face. Priceless!

As yesterday but with a few extra recorded items. Lapsing has reared its ugly head again. Will have to see what happens.
