Economy deliver querry

Post by Toad Boy »

Hi guys.

I've just bought an item on eBay for around £100. The delivery on it is economy. Does this include any insurance?

I'm sure this won't happen, but if the item gets lost is it the senders responsibility to refund me?

More likely eBay/Paypal. The sender would claim if it went missing and would pay eBay, or send a new item. Should be in eBay's T&C for definite answer.
Don't really know what economy is, i.e. which method, if cheapest with Royal Mail, it will only be insured for £50 or so.
Sometimes, I wish I wasn't a Rep.

If it never showed, it would be up to the seller to sort, not you, so they would need to either refund/replace for you and then sort it out. Doesn't really matter to you what 'insurance' the service they've decided to use to send the item has as your contract is with them, not the company delivering the item (which might not be Royal Mail by the way). Any issues, Ebay/Paypal are there to sort.
Does this rag smell of chloroform to you?
