Advance Chaps deduction from pay
Does anyone know why we all had a £12.00 deduction from March pay. The deduction was titled 'Advance CHAPS', Any explanation would be appreciated. Also anyone got any news on Parcelforce paydeal for 2013. CWU, said it would be all sorted for April 2013, still heard nothing. Also anyone know anymore regarding this so called £2000 for privatisation that we are all supposed to get.

Clearing House Automated Payment System
It's an advance payment on your wages or overtime or the reclaiming of said payment..
£2000 is just somebody's stab in the dark.

In Feb there was a problem a weeks worth of allowances, driving allowance etc so they advanced you a payment to cover this you should have got a payslip with this amount on.
Then as per normal they address this in the following months pay.
There was a briefing sent out to cover this.
As for pay, talk to your depot rep they should be aware of where we are at with this years pay deal.
Hope this helps.

I find everything out on here before my manager knows anything about it so I would just keep checking the forum for news.
