But now, 2 people together are only capable of doing 1 and 3/8 rounds???
The rest being left as cut-offs.
Happening every day...with the Usual Suspects.
Because its 2 rounds plus a fifth of another round 1300+ houses and everything else, plus trying to find anything in a combo that is stacked to the roof.
Sounds so much like the P&L that I'm on at present!

Its like the keystone cops when we pull up at our first loop, open the doors and stuff falls out, mail, packets and a trolley I have given up asking for a bigger van,I just hope we don't stop by a drain.
Nightmare of a day i had 6 trays of coded the first 4 were tottaly packed. then i had 2 trays of flats and another half tray of letters and a overflowing bag of parcels this round normally gets 2-3 trays of coded i have done this round at christmas time and today was worse. then the manager anounces that the mail is down
Agree, it's two rounds PLUS, but more time is allowed and it's one journey out/back...not two.
But to leave 5/8ths of the 2nd round behind beggars belief...not just Busy days, but almost EVERY day.
If you use the "Time Series Analysis" system, its more than do-able between two posties.
And now were getting "situation creep" as the Military say...18 Boxes of mail/packets left recently between 3 rounds.
Getting laughable now, then it'll be beyond a joke when the Christmas rush starts. There'll possibly more being left behind than taken out.
Privatisation???/ It might just work.
Terrible day.
Got put on a walk i'd never done before. I'd heard it was awful and it certainly lived up to that.
The place was like a maze and hardly any numbers on the doors
Brought back a big bundle for places i couldn't find/was unsure of. Probably be in the s**t tomorrow for that. Oh well...

Why would yopu be in the s**t. Would your boss prefer you to misdeliver them on a walk you have not been trained on?

Good point.
Just a bit worried about the amount i brought back. The managers were all gone when i got back so i couldn't explain why. I'm also part time so i wont be in when it's getting sorted back into the frame first thing.
My usual manager probably wouldn't mind but we have a stand in guy just now and he's a hard liner.
Felt miserable for the first time today. (does that mean I'm now a postie?). Other rural drivers out 30 mins before me on the cushy routes and back early according to the books while I struggled to get back before office closing and without having a break. Long bloody day with too many letters but thankfully hardly any PF and nothing above 30kg. Out at 11:30 and back just before 5.
Could have been much worse. At least the sun was shining and tomorrow is Sunday!
