Help ! what i have to do about this ?

i dont know what i have to do so i need help

i have a shipment was sent from Croatia to UK , its arrived to the UK in 3/31/2013 but it didnt delivered until now to my Aramex address (im from outside the UK)

on the Croatian tracking site it says the shipment is in LANGLEY HWDC



i sent the Croatian Post office an email and they replied

Dear Sir,

as you saw your shipment has left Croatia on 27.3.2013. and entered United Kingdom on 31.3.2013. As we have no possibility of tracking shipment in United Kingdom we advise you to contact UK postal service for information af whereabouts of your shipment.

then i entered the tracking number here on the Royal Mail site and i got



so what should i do now ? the shipment is not moving :(

It is probably moving as far as I know items from Croatia are not scanned throughout their journey only on delivery. There is a chance that it has been delivered but not signed for - I would check with your mail forwarding service (ARAMEX ?)

Langley/Heathrow are the same place and it's not unusual for an item to be sat there a while. It's only been 5 days, some of those were bank holidays so I wouldn't worry about it just yet. Maybe start worrying in a few weeks if it hasn't appeared.

i contacted Aramex they said we didn't receive anything :(

I think you just need to sit tight for a little while. If it hasn't arrived in another week or so you could try contacting Royal Mail themselves on Twitter (@RoyalMail), they're usually very prompt at responding.

they dont have access to the whole system ? strange !!

i guess i have to wait :( i have nothing else to do :/

1. It didn't say they don't have access to the whole system. It said that the system is giving no more information. Probably for the reasons I stated in one of my replies.

2. It took 5 days to leave Croatia (Zagreb to Split 250 miles) - that is if I may say a long time I did that journey in 1995 and it took us 10 hours then, well actually from Ploce - but its close enough

3. There is nothing that can be done, it can only be classed as lost after 15 working days - as it entered the country on 31 Mar your only at 6 days. Also as Croatia does not pay RM for point to point tracking its not a service that is provided so customer services won't be able to give you any more information till its delivered.

4. One reason it may be delayed is because of it having to clear customs and another is that some places in the UK suffered because of high snowfall in the week before, this may have caused backlogs both in Customs and in Royal Mail. The British are not as used to snow as perhaps those living in where you do.

That really is the only course of action available right now. What compensation available if any will depend on the Croatian Post Office and the Terms and Conditions of the service used.
