Worried about my Mail

Post by Evildixy »

Hi

Hoping that someone can provide some advice, I have a horrible feeling that either my mail is being delivered to the wrong address or (less liklely) that it is being stolen.

I have currently 7 parcels outstanding from the 23rd of March and although we had bad weather that weekend it is now all clear.

One package has had a replacement sent (from Amazon) which was due on the 28th and still hasn't arrived.

Previous to this one package never arrived and was returned to Amazon as un-deliverable.

Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Many Thanks

It's hellishly busy ATM and bank holiday doesn't help

Parcels are not prioritised by our wondrous management.

Letters prioritised even if its crap

Harsh reality

Good luck, I'm sure they'll turn up next week

All are Royal Mail. The amazon ones are using the "guaranteed next day service". Will speak to them again on Monday though to see if they can resend again (perhaps tracked this time).

Don't blame you. Think you should go down to sorting office ask for a manger and have a moan.

Guaranteed Next Day service is a tracked service if it comes through Royal Mail - did they send you a tracking number. Also I know Mirfield had the same problems as Huddersfield over the snow (3 days in a row management suspended deliveries) and we are still catching up with standard, however nearly all the tracked and special deliveries (the next day guaranteed service) is up to date - Mirfield should be the same.

If you think its worth a try then I'll do that.

No tracking numbers which is why am worried about where they are after one was returned as undeliverable.

Not overly surprised that they could be late due to the snow as we did get a lot but its been clear since Tuesday and the first batch were due on the 22nd and one replacement on the 28th.

Amazon said its a special Business mail they have with Royal Mail to get things next day.

Yeah, thats what I'm going to ask them to use on the next replacement. At least I will be able to see its location.
