Privatisation Employee Shares

Post by Zootsuit »

Reports today of RM employee share handout on privatisation. Anti stagging measures would mean they would have to be kept for some time before off loading though.
Who wants a part of it?
Would it make some of us more efficient and care more about the way things are done?

I'll have the free ones, but probably won't buy any more.

They'll probably change a few peoples ways but most will just carry on as normal.
Links to all RM pension related websites are here

Shares given to us, but will ultimately cost us far more in the long term that we would ever receive in the short term.

There are lies , damned lies and statistics !!! Prior to DSA Royal Mail had all the money for the items and transporting and having the outward process meant it was less labour intensive. Now of com has allowed them to charge more they may be making money but nowhere near what they should be if DSA was not introduced years ahead of the rest of Europe.

And did the CWU fight this 10 years ago??? It's a BIG f**k OFF NO to that even when the members wanted to! Something else the CWU gave away.

Personally I cannot wait for privatisation. Proper management of RM will be a breath of fresh air.

By the way, these shares, thought to be in the region of £2000 per employee, are NOTHING at all like 'Colleague Shares', which were merely phantom shares and of course, worthless!! The new shares will be traded on the Stock Exchange.
