Good day, no rain. a bit heavy on mothers day cards, but finished on time..

Came home to find a new contract in my post box...
Was on a 6 month fixed, now a long term :hmmmm

Only been there 4 weeks so can't be bad, though I did notice I had delivered a fair few of the same letters today.

Been a heavy week, weather has been fine so no problems. What other people do is none of my business, but...... one person has worked evey day of his 2 weeks leave and the "days" off and an other person is in this Saturday afternoon doing his D to D after having 2 weeks off. People fought for our holidays. :arrrghhh :arrrghhh :arrrghhh

Very true.

We also fought for a 5 day working week but now people work thier rest days at the drop of a hat. I know that some need the money but there are a few that clearly do not but cannot turn it down. :hmmmm
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

Really heavy sat. High call rate with Virgin Direct flats and a mail shot from estate agent.

Stayed dry although colder. Finished bang on time.

Shite. That is working on a Saturday.
Brought back more packets, than the whole of the week put together.
Still, if that's what they want.

Saturday, heavy, tiring and dragged. But it was my last day on the job, I am finally free. Was nice to walk my round thinking last time delivering there, last time delivering there, last time i knock on your door to no answer and 739 you. Surprisingly enough the person who has had a parcel almost everyday and is never in, was in! Must have heard i was leaving so showed her face for the first time, that made up for all the neglect from her over the years.

What can i say, it has been...a job.

It snowed for half the day and the sun shone for the other half.
Unfortunately in 10 minute intervals.

Election material.. again! Every sodding house and this weather don't help at all! bloody wind blowing like crazy with snow flurries. So glad it didn't settle!
Office phoned me when I was out of delivery and wanted to know if I wanted to work my day off. Laughed down the phone.. said "Nope" and then hung up.
If I want to work overtime then I'll do it when I want to do it not when they need me to do it, to cover their lack of manpower. Shouldn't chop jobs like they have leaving a lack of cover for deliveries.

Horrible day for a Monday. Every day I seem to be overrunning. Getting tired of it tbh. DOM is starting to harrass me due to performance.

Work Time Lying for the first time in forever, just to tell us about the prep for the revision.
Shite day, really heavy for a Monday, cold and snowy. some of this weeks D2D arrived after 7:30 this morning as a special treat, also was asked to work my day off. Nah, and no I won't do extra lapsing or an extra bag miles way from my walk either. Finished 10 mins over.
