Confused Applicant

Hello, I recently applied for a post person with driving position in January, the initial closing date was 8th January 2013, (but moved to the 18th, then the 21st and finally to the 31st) On submitting my application I was sent a link to an online test, my status remained at the "test completed" stage for ages, I then had a welcome booklet and all the other trimmings that goes with 'joining Royal Mail' as well as 'Congratulations, as you have passed the assessment etc" message.


On Feb 1st I logged on to the site to find ' Application Unsuccessful' on my status. The following day Feb 2nd the job I had applied for was again being advertised, I tried re-applying but the system would not allow me. I get a message telling me I have already applied for that position.

My question is; would I be considered for this post and would I get any communication from anyone at RM about being a potential candidate? I haven't been placed on a waiting list (that I know of) I logged into my account earlier today and I am in the 'Offer Zone' with 'Application Unsuccessful' still below the post I had applied for.

If you hadn't it would seem your application was unsuccessful at this stage. DO NOT let this put you off applying. I applied for two jobs. First one I was unsuccessful second one I got the job.
