MTSF. Seniority How is it Worked Out.

Post by theshrew »

Our Mail centre is closing (Shrewsbury)
The union and management are working out the seniority for the distribution drivers, How do we know they are doing it properly?
We have heard rumours that some people are jumping up the list!!!!!!

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Seniority based on your date on entry into Royal Mail?

There is seniority and there is shift seniority.
Shift seniority usually trumps seniority because RM don't want to pay twice through pay protection hence MTSF2 and the complex Pandora's Box that opens..
