Freezing col and hammered again. Did a couple of hours parcel deliveries when I got back. Snow started coming down thick and fast, as predicted, at around 5pm.

Light day today, but I had to set in two deliveries - Park/Loop - as the regular is on a long weekend off, delivery was thrown off by a postie on light duties, also no float for his delivery - shifted to cover another one - so they got a part timer who has only done this one once before and had never set it in. So it took 80 mins to bag up the two deliveries. No Tracked items - [big whoop] so that helped today as the PDA we use just loves logging itself out and crashing/freezing up etc - so that pile of pony was left in the cage. even [bigger whoop] We got out early [for us anyway], as others were out about 30-45mins before us, but we managed to get finished early today. Back at the office around 1:15pm. To find the car-park 60-70% full of vans.

That don't sound right......reckon someone(driver?) has changed that to suit themselves.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

They call it alternative park and loop.

Not that busy but terrible weather. Got home late and freezing cold after tramping round on slippy pavements all day. Knackered.

Wet and windy day, sod all mail today so we got finished early... for a change. Had a manager phone me when I was on delivery asking me if I want to work my day off. WTF!
Why not ask me in the office when he spoke to me prior to leaving. :arrrghhh
Phoned me three times, ignored it the first two times, :whistle then told him no.. even before he could ask me when he called again. :nana
They are short staffed at my office and a few deliveries still have packets from last Thurs/Fri/Sat that's not been delivered due to people on light duties and being sick.

Lighter than Saturday, but hardly a walk in the park. Got back home before the really horrid weather arrived.

Horrendously wet at times, kind of rain that soaks you to the core in a few seconds.
Thankfully i was in a van most of the day. Had a lovely encounter with an otter that walked in front of the van then around the side before Sun up.
