Well its been 19 days so far, i had to contact Royal Mail and they told me this, here's an excerpt:
I would like to explain that under the Universal Postal Agreement, any enquiries regarding your item have to be initiated in the country of origin. May I therefore suggest that you contact the senders and ask them to provide their postal administration with the posting details. This will enable an investigation to be made from the point of posting.
So at the moment i'm in the middle of waiting for the supplier to get back to me on the investigation.

It means the item bearing the tracking number has arrived into the country. Depending on how HWDC are doing with getting stuff through customs and various other factors it might be with you in a couple of days or a couple of weeks. Check back for any updates every few days

Hi, I've been tracking a package sent from China and apparently is now Stuck at Langley HWDC.
Is it me or the following message says that the item has been attempted to be delivered.

2012-12-03 14:51:00 UNITED KINGDOM LANGLEY HWDC Arrival at Sorting Center
2012-12-05 11:24:00 UNITED KINGDOM SE 20 Attempted delivery
2012-12-05 13:31:00 UNITED KINGDOM SE 20 Attempted delivery
2012-12-05 13:32:00 UNITED KINGDOM SE 20 Attempted delivery

I Haven't received any letter o package on that day and not even a card saying that "Sorry We Missed You"...etc

Anything that I should be worried about?

Thanks!

Items from China aren't tracked within the UK. Your local delivery office may have run out of "something for you cards". Try contacting your local delivery office

SOME are-we used to get some in the specials bag and if they've got a barcode on them, we were always told to try scanning them.

But I agree, contact your local delivery office and ask about the item.

someone said not tracked in the UK, any packet that doesn't scan a new barcode will be issued on the item, but most items from china hong kong are scanned with either CN or HK at the end of the barcode like we have GB

Hi,

Basically i have 2 parcels from japan that was sent on the 14 dec 2012 and through japan post tracking service i found out that it has been at HWDC Langley hub since 22 december 2012. I understand that due to holidays my parcel might be delayed but i haven't heard anything yet, not from customs or royal mail. Nothing. I'm quite sure that those parcels wouldn't get a customs charge since they are gifts with low amounts. Now i think that they have just overlooked my parcels and maybe they're stuck there at Langley... Hopefully still in good condition. I wanted to ring them directly but in don't know the number or any contact information about it.

It's just way past the holidays now... I've got another parcel that was sent on 27 dec 2012 and i already have it since 7 january 2013. So i wonder what's taking them too long to arrive?

Please help. Thanks.
