Transferring to another delivery office
Hi i started on a 6 month part time contract on the 24th september 2012. I have been working full time hours plus overtime all but the first week and was wondering what the chances are of being offered a new contract or how to transfer to another local delivery office once my current contract is up. Any advice much appreciated. Cheers. John.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Sorry my bad,moving on...
Most contracts are renewed and they seem to do it a lot,has your office had a 2 in a van revision yet,you could possibly go permanent when that revision happens.
As for a transfer,we usually advise to contact the office/s directly where you want to go as the internal transfer system is pants.

Yes when i joined they had just had the revision 2 weeks before. OK will see if the Dom can help me out. Thanks for your help.
