Manager changing my duty content.

Post by guv077 »

HI A friend of mine is working in a mailcentre and his manager has approached him and told him as from tomorow his duty content is changing not drasticaly but enough to make him feel uncomfortable. My question is can a manager just do this without consulting his union rep first???

Im afraid you pretty much have to do as you're told.Obviously as long as your trained in the job asked of you,and it is not a H&S risk.
On the 318's in our MC although you sign for a certain area every one has "as directed" on it.This means what it says....
