Any spark of Christmas spirit was quickly snuffed today buy the tsunami of heavy flats which flooded our office from the mail centre. Very heavy day. :sad:

In at 5.55am, Out at 9.40am, finished 14.55pm
Rows of houses all bearing down on me........I can feel their blue hands touching me.......All these things in all positions.........All these things will one day take control..........

Wet, ridiculously wet and spent much of the day soaked to the skin. Poor sod tomorrow shall have a van with a wet sponge for a seat.
Got my first long weekend starting tomorrow so I'll have 5 days off with it being new year. Amazing!

Major failure in our DO today,so much DSA on the IPS that they told us to put it aside just so they could get us out to do our absorptions i suppose.Also failed on packets,several yorks left unsorted.

Good day yesterday. Hardly anything on. Today was totally different. Catalogues coming through, heavy ones too. Weather hasn't been great the last few days.

Told I was in the callers office, oh well an easy day I'll prep these two walks fully then. Watched as everyone made their way out on their walks only to have a duty thrust at me last moment. Twats.

Very quiet - out at 9am and done for 1045 - :crazy: :crazy: :crazy: Even took BBs with me to where I was going saves a bit of weight when it gets heavier.

Lots of flats sorted when i got in but not much came in after so not too bad. Finished on time for once .
