O/t today. IPS on the flat then the packets. Followed by parcels until I got fed up... just before closing time at the office. Did a patch I know well. Couldn't believe how many packets/ parcels there were just in that area. Same again Monday.

Mail okay. Loads of packets. It's getting to the point where it's hard to close the stop boxes.

Not so bad yesterday (Saturday). So far I've only had one bad day for packets - I keep expecting it to get worse but it's not happened here yet

Huddersfield Festival of lights took out our light and heating in the office.
Apart from that just a busy Monday not as bad as expected.

Busiest day of the year for you so far this Xmas, a week after "Cyber Monday" when as a nation we are supposed to have gone crazy with online Xmas gift ordering?
Certainly busiest day so far for me, manual trays with lots of cards instead of catologues (so longer to prep), more packets than I have ever dealt with on a walk (already >33% up on what I have ever had on a single day, people are unsurprisingly buying the online bargains). Left ~25% and still went over by >1 hour.

Which bright spark of a pen-pusher decided that we could do D2D's during Xmas pressure ?

Still very light on letters, coping with parcels with over time, taking one day at a time. Dry sunny day.
